Pierce Industries, Inc. is seeking a dependable and experienced Class A Truck Driver to join our team. We are a small, family-operated trucking company looking for a professional who takes pride in their work and is willing to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers and operations.
Position Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
- Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating transfer trucks
- Experience operating super dump trucks
Job Duties
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and company regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation
- Transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance concerns promptly
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Schedule & Travel
This position requires flexibility in scheduling and work assignments. Drivers must be willing to:
- Work varying start and end times as needed
- Work overtime when required
- Travel and work out of town on occasion, including overnight assignments when necessary
