Position Overview
Vinfinities is expanding its candidate pipeline to support current and emerging federal programs. We are seeking experienced Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) professionals who can support complex security technology programs and portfolios throughout the capability lifecycle, from mission analysis, capability gaps, and requirements through acquisition, systems engineering, testing, deployment, sustainment, modernization, and operational adoption.
We seek accomplished mid-level and senior professionals, subject-matter experts, and workstream leads who can take ownership, integrate activities across multiple programs and technical disciplines, coordinate complex stakeholder organizations, and move priorities from planning through execution. Relevant experience may include security technology, identity management, passenger or property screening, detection and alarm-resolution capabilities, or other federal mission-support programs.

Potential Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary according to the assigned role and may include:
- Support complex federal acquisition, modernization, and sustainment initiatives.
- Translate mission needs and capability gaps into actionable requirements, plans, analyses, and technical documentation.
- Integrate program management, acquisition, engineering, testing, budget, schedule, deployment, and sustainment activities.
- Monitor cost, schedule, performance, risks, issues, dependencies, and corrective actions.
- Develop decision briefs, dashboards, schedules, reports, meeting materials, and executive-level presentations.
- Coordinate with program offices, acquisition organizations, operational users, engineers, test organizations, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate working groups, technical reviews, governance forums, and integrated planning activities.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and decision-ready products that support measurable mission outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-program and cross-portfolio dependencies to align requirements, acquisition, engineering, testing, budgets, schedules, deployment, sustainment, and operational priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant federal SETA, program or portfolio management, acquisition, systems engineering, capability lifecycle management, business management, or security technology experience.
- Experience supporting TSA, DHS, or another federal acquisition, engineering, technology, or mission-support organization is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of federal acquisition and capability lifecycle processes.
- Experience with TSAAM, the Acquisition Lifecycle Framework, DHS Systems Engineering Lifecycle, or comparable federal frameworks is desirable.
- Strong analytical, written communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop clear and decision-ready management or technical products.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent applicable experience, subject to specific position requirements.
- Relevant credentials such as PMP, PMI-SP, FAC, DAWIA, INCOSE, Agile, ITIL, CISSP, or Security+ are desirable but not required for every role.
- Current or previously held TSA suitability is highly desirable.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any suitability, access, or clearance required for the assigned role.
- Demonstrated initiative, ownership, resourcefulness, and follow-through in complex customer environments.
- Proven ability to independently structure assignments, solve problems, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver high-quality results with limited supervision.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs, present well-supported recommendations, and translate direction into executable actions and measurable outcomes.
Location and Work Arrangement
This position may require hybrid and onsite support at a federal customer location in Springfield, Virginia. The specific duty location, work schedule, and onsite requirements will depend on customer and contract needs.
Compensation
Anticipated base salary range: $95,000–$185,000 per year.
Compensation within this range will depend on the specific role, responsibilities, experience, education, certifications, work arrangement, and applicable customer and contract requirements.
