Job Overview:
The MPC production worker is responsible for printing, imaging, fabricating, and finishing an array of custom product identification products to customer specifications. The work requires a strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, and the worker should aim to meet safety, quality, and on time delivery metrics at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Strong attention to detail;

Ability to read and interpret customer drawings or prints;

Ability to use measuring equipment such as a caliper for dimension verification;

Set up and operation of various production equipment and machines such as but not limited to:
- Photographic imaging, developing, and processing equipment,
-
Manual and automatic screen-printing presses, screen making, stencil preparation, and screen reclaiming,
-
Digital, thermal, and hot stamp printing equipment,
-
Shearing, punching, laser cutting, forming, and finishing machines for sheet metal,
-
Digital and steel-rule die cutting and finishing equipment,
-
Packaging equipment;
-
Pull and prepare materials for production;
-
Maintain inventory of materials in good order following established policies and guidelines;

Inspect printed and finished parts;
- Perform handwork and assembly of products as required;

Performs basic cleaning, lubrication, maintenance, and adjustment of machinery as required;

Escalate issues pertaining to safety, quality, or on time delivery to production coordinator;
-
Maintains a clean work environment throughout each day;
-
Able and willing to learn new processes to expand competency and increase organizational flexibility.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED);
- Previous experience with sheet metal fabrication a plus;
- Previous experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings a plus;

Strong mechanical aptitude a plus;
- Energetic, team player possessing strong attention to detail;
- Must be willing and able to follow directions;
- Safety conscious behavior;
- Excellent attendance record;
- Able to perform work tasks both independently and in a team-based environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time;
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds;
- Position requires good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, color vision, and ability to adjust between close and distance vision.
