Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Conduct facilities maintenance to ensure safety standards and operational efficiency are met
- Execute residential painting projects with attention to detail and quality standards
- Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints to accurately complete repairs or installations
- Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Supervise or assist with welding projects when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Manage maintenance schedules using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders and service history
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repair processes and timelines
- Lead or support supervising teams during larger projects or facility upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, handyman services, or related fields with a focus on residential or commercial properties
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience and familiarity with schematics
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively
- Skilled in welding techniques with a good understanding of safety procedures
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus for troubleshooting automated systems
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear interaction with clients and team members
- Supervising experience is preferred for leadership roles within the team
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward client satisfaction
