Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, sales-driven Direct Patient Care & Outreach Representative who is comfortable working directly within shelters, supportive housing, and low-income residential buildings.
This is a unique hybrid role combining hands-on caregiving and community outreach/business development. You will actively engage residents, build quick rapport, and confidently introduce Anchor Health’s homecare services. A key part of your approach will be taking a hands-on role — stepping in to caregive and provide a real-time “trial” experience so potential patients can see the value of our services firsthand.
You must be comfortable delivering direct patient care while simultaneously identifying networking opportunities, building relationships within buildings, and enrolling new patients. In many cases, you will both enroll the patient and continue providing care for them.
While caregiving and relationship-building are part of the role, sales and enrollment are also priority. You must be comfortable initiating conversations, overcoming objections, and closing enrollments in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
This is a full-time, field-based position ideal for someone who is outgoing, resilient, adaptable, and motivated by commission, impact, and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on caregiving support to prospective patients so they can experience the value of services before enrolling
- Work on-site in shelters and low income residential buildings
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with shelter residents
- Clearly explain Anchor Health Home Care services in a compassionate and approachable manner
- Assist eligible individuals with enrolling in home care services
- Serve as a positive and professional representative of Anchor Health
- Meet enrollment goals and contribute to community growth efforts
Compensation
- Competitive base pay- $21-$25/hr
- Commission for each member successfully enrolled
Requirements
- Willing and able to act as a caregiver for patients in need of services
- Highly adaptable and flexible
- Comfortable working inside shelters and low-income housing environments
- Comfortable working in all types of environments and neighborhoods (including conditions such as roaches, mice, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to carry meaningful conversations
- Warm, empathetic, and approachable demeanor
- Willing to work in the field full time
- Prior experience as a caregive required
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish-speaking (bilingual a strong plus)
- Access to a car (not required)
