The Jenkins Creative Counseling Center is seeking an experienced, fully licensed mental health clinician to serve as a School-Based Clinical Lead. This part-time leadership role provides support, mentorship, and consultation to our growing school-based therapy team while helping ensure high-quality, consistent services across partner schools.
This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys leadership, training, and program development while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical consultation and support to school-based therapists.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new school-based clinicians.
- Facilitate monthly school-based team meetings and case discussions.
- Support implementation of school-based policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify program needs and opportunities for growth.
- Serve as a resource for clinicians navigating school-related concerns, communication, and service delivery challenges.
- Participate in leadership meetings as needed.
- Assist with temporary coverage planning and support during staff absences, vacancies, or leaves.
- Promote a positive team culture through mentorship, collaboration, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Fully licensed LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or equivalent in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
- Previous experience providing school-based mental health services required.
- Demonstrated leadership, supervision, training, or mentoring experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
- Independent Contractor (1099)
- Monthly leadership stipend
- Additional compensation opportunities may be available for direct clinical services, training, onboarding activities, and school coverage assignments.
Schedule
- Approximately 2–5 hours per week
- Flexible schedule with occasional daytime availability for consultation, onboarding, and school-related support

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
