Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Financial Services Producer who knows how to close. In this role, you will be the final step in delivering an exceptional ownership experience — presenting financing and insurance solutions with confidence, precision, and professionalism. Our store runs a structured, process-oriented F&I operation, and we're looking for someone who thrives within that framework and consistently produces at a high level. If you're a proven closer with a track record of exceeding PVR and penetration goals, this is your opportunity to grow your career within one of the most respected automotive groups in the country — Hendrick Automotive Group's network of 90+ dealerships means your ceiling here is only as low as you set it.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers with confidence and urgency at the point of sale, presenting financing and insurance options through a structured menu-selling process to maximize product penetration and PVR.
- Conduct thorough reviews of customer credit applications to structure deals that work for both the customer and the dealership, leveraging relationships with lenders and financial institutions to secure approvals.
- Present and close extended service contracts, GAP, and owner protection products by clearly communicating value and aligning solutions to each customer's needs
- Manage deal documentation with precision, utilizing the deal checklist process to ensure every transaction is complete, accurate, and compliant.
- Deliver a seamless, professional customer experience by responding to inquiries clearly, explaining financing terms confidently, and maintaining CSI scores at or above company standards.
- Stay current on federal, state, and dealership compliance requirements — including Safeguards, Red Flag, OFAC, and Reg Z — to ensure every deal is handled with full regulatory integrity.
- Partner closely with the sales team, Sales Managers, and General Manager to maintain strong deal flow, effective communication, and a high-performing F&I department.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive F&I, dealership finance, or a related financial services role with a demonstrated record of high performance.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to structure deals effectively and present financing and insurance options with confidence.
- Working knowledge of F&I products including extended service contracts, GAP, and owner protection programs, along with applicable federal and state regulations.
- AFIP Certification required; candidates actively pursuing certification will be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dealership DMS/CRM platforms; ability to manage documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — able to build trust quickly, explain complex financial terms clearly, and deliver a consistently professional customer experience.
- Strong analytical ability to review credit applications, evaluate lender programs, and structure deals that balance customer needs with dealership profitability.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously within a structured, process-driven environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
