Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Frac Fleet E-Tech, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems on our hydraulic fracturing equipment fleet. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems within the frac fleet, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage control circuits.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose system faults.
- Install, modify, and upgrade electrical components in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 compliance for high-voltage systems and proper grounding techniques.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform precise electrical wiring tasks on industrial electrical systems.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections thoroughly to maintain safety records and facilitate future troubleshooting efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven 3+ years experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems. Frac experience a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting medium voltage and low voltage electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, megging, and multimeters.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, local electrical codes, and safety procedures related to medium-voltage wiring.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Able to work outside in ]hot and cold weather climates as well uncomfortable positions.
- Able to lift 50lbs and climb up and down ladders.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
