Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team to meet or exceed revenue goals through effective coaching and strategic planning
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industries, focusing on B2B markets
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct technical sales presentations, negotiations, and product demonstrations tailored to client needs
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track sales activities, analyze data, and optimize outreach efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and account management to align business objectives
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and identify growth areas
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets in B2B environments
- Demonstrated management skills with experience leading a sales team or business development unit
- Background in technology sales or technical sales roles preferred; familiarity with Salesforce is highly desirable
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to close deals effectively
- Experience in developing marketing strategies that support business growth initiatives
