Responsibilities

- Package finished products for sale or catering orders, ensuring proper presentation and freshness.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including measuring ingredients and mixing batter.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely delivery of baked goods.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers when necessary, answering questions about products, and accommodating special requests.
- Stay updated on current trends in the pastry industry to bring innovative ideas to the menu.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pastry production or baking within a culinary environment is essential.
- Strong cake decorating skills with an eye for detail and creativity in presentation.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is required.
- Experience in food preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods.
- Background in the food industry or restaurant experience is preferred.
