High-Volume Kitchen • Late Night
Based on Experience: $18 per hour
Are you an experienced line cook who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen? Do you take pride in executing great food, working as part of a strong team, and delivering consistency during busy services?
Cypress Street Pint & Plate is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our Back-of-House team. We are looking for dependable, hardworking kitchen professionals who can perform under pressure while maintaining quality, speed, cleanliness, and teamwork.
Cypress Street Pint & Plate is located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. It is a throwback to when the drinks were always cold, the food was always hot, and the bar staff knew your name. With seventeen beers on tap, forty bottled selections, and a fully stocked selection of wine and spirits, Cypress has become a local favorite neighborhood haunt.
Our lively atmosphere, late-night service, and high-volume kitchen create an exciting environment for cooks who enjoy working hard, learning new skills, and being part of a professional kitchen team.
STATIONS
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Work assigned stations during service while maintaining speed and accuracy
- Complete station setup and stocking before service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout each shift
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and management
- Support fellow team members during busy service periods
- Complete kitchen closing duties and station breakdowns
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Previous line cook, sauté cook, fry cook experience required
- Experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants strongly preferred
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 pounds
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
- Days, nights, and weekends are required
- Holiday availability required
- Late-night availability strongly preferred
