Location: UMC's Crisis Stabilization Center, Las Vegas, Nevada – Onsite (This role is not eligible for Remote or Hybrid)
As a Mental Health Technician at NovumHealth, your primary purpose is to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with mental health disorders. You will play a crucial role in assisting with the implementation of treatment plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, and facilitating therapeutic activities to promote their recovery.

Welcome and engage individuals visiting the support center, establishing a trusting and supportive relationship.

Provide empathetic and nonjudgmental support to individuals contacting the support center seeking behavioral health assistance.

Facilitate therapeutic activities and interventions, such as group discussions, recreational programs, and life skills training.

Monitor and document clients' progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.

Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive support plans.

Advocate for clients' rights, needs, and preferences, ensuring a personcentered approach to care.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must pass drug screening and background check in order to start employment with Novum Health.

Must be willing to receive vaccinations in accordance with hospital and state requirements.

Associate or bachelor’s degree in human services field.

Previous work or volunteer experience in a community setting.
