Our office is currently seeking a hardworking, reliable experienced Optician. Our opticians utilize the latest instruments, tools, & lens technology to ensure the highest patient satisfaction. 1-3+ years optician & lab experience, knowledge of Zeiss lenses, and/or an associates degree preferred. ABOC or willingness to obtain ABO license a plus. Must be available to work select Saturdays from 9AM to 2PM at least twice a month.
Primary job duties include frame styling, understanding spectacle prescriptions & insurance benefits, frame adjustments/repairs, lens verification using a manual lensometer, frame inventory management, credits and returns, electronic submission of vision claims, and ordering of spectacle lenses. Lab and lens edging experience a plus!
