Woodson Bend Resort, a 480-unit condominium resort community on beautiful Lake Cumberland, is looking for a dependable, friendly Grill Cook to join our Golf Pro Shop Grill for the 2026 season. This is a great opportunity to spend your spring and summer working in a relaxed, scenic resort setting.
As our Grill Cook, you'll be the go-to person behind the counter at our Pro Shop Grill, serving golfers, resort guests, and property owners throughout the day. You'll prepare and serve classic grill fare including burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and sides. You'll be responsible for opening and closing the grill area, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, monitoring food inventory and supplies, prepping ingredients daily, and ensuring every order goes out quickly and at a high standard. You'll also handle basic point-of-sale transactions and provide friendly, welcoming service that keeps guests coming back.
This is a hands-on role. The menu is straightforward, so the learning curve is manageable, but attention to detail, cleanliness, and a positive attitude go a long way.
We're looking for someone who is dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic, friendly and comfortable interacting with a wide range of guests, and able to stay calm and efficient during busy periods like tournament days and holiday weekends. Previous grill, kitchen, or food service experience is preferred but not required. We're happy to train the right person who brings a good attitude and willingness to learn.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays throughout the season from April through October. Must be able to stand for extended periods, work in a warm kitchen environment, and lift up to 30 lbs. Must be at least 18 years of age.
