Position Summary
Prosperous Health is seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Group Facilitators to provide psychoeducational and process groups for individuals receiving mental health and substance use disorder treatment services. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
We are currently seeking professionals with experience in behavioral health, particularly individuals holding Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) credentials. Candidates with additional behavioral health certifications or licenses are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate psychoeducational, process, and recovery-oriented group sessions for adults receiving mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment.
- Foster a safe, respectful, engaging, and supportive therapeutic group environment.
- Deliver evidence-based curriculum focused on relapse prevention, coping skills, emotional regulation, recovery, life skills, and overall wellness.
- Complete accurate and timely group notes, attendance records, and required documentation.
- Collaborate with clinical staff regarding participant progress and treatment planning.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and all agency policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
- CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) certification preferred.
- Other qualified behavioral health credentials and certifications will be considered.
- Experience facilitating groups within behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or mental health settings.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, recovery-oriented practices, and group facilitation techniques.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to complete documentation accurately and maintain professional boundaries.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Must successfully complete all required background screenings and credentialing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
- Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Compensation
