Part-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant
Multiple Locations | Santa Ana • Paramount • Buena Park • Orange
$27–$35 per hour, based on experience
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant (DA) to join our growing orthodontic team. This is a part-time traveling position with a consistent monthly schedule across several of our dental offices.
Schedule & Locations
- Every Tuesday: Paramount & Santa Ana
- 2 Wednesdays per month: Happy Tooth – Santa Ana
- 2 Thursdays per month: Buena Park & Orange
Position Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist with chairside procedures and patient care
- Take orthodontic X-rays, photos, impressions, and digital scans
- Prepare and organize operatories before and after treatment
- Maintain proper sterilization and infection control procedures
- Assist with patient flow and ensure appointments run efficiently
- Provide patients with a welcoming, professional experience
- Communicate effectively with the orthodontist and office teams
What We're Looking For
- Previous orthodontic assisting experience preferred
- RDA license or Orthodontic Assistant Permit is a plus
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between offices
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in different office environments
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
