Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety in a professional office building located in the Powell/Lewis Center area. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure a hygienic and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate must have a strong work history and reliable references. You will be working with a team of 3-4 individuals, 5 times per week, approximately 2-3 hrs per night, helping to maintain each floor of the building. Start times begin after 5:00 pm and you will be reporting to a supervisor.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, glass cleaning and trash removal across various areas of the facility
- Use specialized cleaning equipment and supplies for industrial or commercial cleaning tasks
- Maintain restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas in a clean and sanitary condition
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Qualifications
- Experience in janitorial or custodial work ideal but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation/Drivers License Required
- Background Check Required/Must have a clean background
- Must have a strong work history and references
This role is essential for ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and inviting. We value hardworking individuals who take pride in their work and are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. On-site training is required and will be performed by company supervisor.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
