Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Program Launch Manager to lead the successful implementation of card issuing and banking programs. This role combines traditional project management expertise with deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including sponsor banks, card networks, processors, compliance requirements, and fintech operations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple client implementations simultaneously, and understands the complexities of launching consumer and commercial card programs from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation & Launch Management
- Lead end-to-end implementation of all card programs.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and launch readiness documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including clients, sponsor banks, processors, card manufacturers, compliance teams, and technology partners.
- Facilitate project status meetings and executive-level stakeholder updates.
- Identify implementation risks and proactively develop mitigation plans.
- Manage multiple concurrent client launches while maintaining timelines and quality standards.
Payments & Issuing Expertise
- Serve as the primary project lead throughout program design, implementation, testing, certification, and launch.
- Coordinate processor integrations, card production, BIN sponsorship activities, and network requirements.
- Support client onboarding and readiness across operational, compliance, and technology workstreams.
- Manage testing plans, UAT activities, operational readiness reviews, and launch checklists.
- Ensure successful coordination between sponsor banks, network partners, and fintech clients.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with fintech clients, bank partners, and third-party vendors.
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and critical decisions to executive stakeholders.
- Drive accountability across internal and external teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and partners throughout the launch process.
Process Improvement
- Develop and refine implementation methodologies, templates, and best practices.
- Create scalable project management processes to support company growth.
- Contribute to operational excellence initiatives across NXTMOVES.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project or program management experience.
- 3+ years of experience in payments, banking, fintech, card issuing, or embedded finance.
- Demonstrated experience launching card programs, banking products, or payment solutions.
- Strong understanding of the card issuing ecosystem, including sponsor banks, processors, card networks, and fintech operations.
- Experience managing multiple complex implementations simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Pay: $82,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
