The Cherokee County YMCA is looking for qualified individuals who will assist in the successful operation of the Child Watch area on site at the YMCA. This postion will be seasonal during the summer months!
Responsibilities: Ensure the health, safety, and well being of children (ages 3 months and up) in the Child Watch area by providing close supervision of all activities. Participate with children during activities. Work cooperatively with professional staff and other departments. Actively participate in all training sessions, designated meetings and special events.
Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older; High School diploma; Minimum of one year of experience working with children. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Current CPR/First Aid/AED certifications (if not current, we can provide the means to get he/she certified).
