Duties
- Prepare a variety of smoothies and protein shakes using fresh ingredients, ensuring quality and consistency in every order
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable beverage options
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while providing excellent customer service
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene during beverage preparation and food service
- Assist with inventory management by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred, especially with smoothie or beverage preparation
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and proper cleaning protocols within the food industry
- Barista experience or coffee expertise is a plus, demonstrating proficiency in beverage creation and serving techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods while maintaining quality standards
