We are seeking a professional, reliable, and service-oriented On-Call Chauffeur to provide transportation services on an as-needed basis. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced executive, professional, or black car driver seeking flexible, on-call work.
The Chauffeur will provide safe and reliable transportation for passengers to various destinations throughout the greater metropolitan area and surrounding regions. The individual selected for this role will be expected to provide a high level of customer service while demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment at all times.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, flexible, and comfortable adapting to changing schedules, destinations, and transportation needs. This role goes beyond driving and requires confidentiality, attention to detail, good judgment, and a commitment to providing a safe, comfortable, and professional passenger experience.
Professional presentation is an important part of this role. The Chauffeur is expected to maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and ensure a clean, fresh, and comfortable environment for passengers at all times.
This is an on-call position with no guaranteed weekly hours. Assignments are based on business needs and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, overnight travel, and extended hours.
Responsibilities
- Safely and professionally transport passengers to designated locations.
- Operate assigned vehicles in accordance with all applicable traffic and safety regulations.
- Plan efficient routes throughout the greater metropolitan area and surrounding regions, accounting for traffic, timing, and changing travel conditions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and passenger-ready vehicle and perform routine pre-trip vehicle inspections.
- Assist passengers with luggage and other reasonable transportation-related needs.
- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Maintain a neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance.
- Complete required trip records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional chauffeur, executive driver, or black car driving experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of the greater metropolitan area, surrounding regions, and major transportation hubs and airports.
- Strong route-planning and navigation skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, courteous, and discreet demeanor.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing schedules and transportation needs.
- Ability to maintain a clean, fresh, and comfortable environment for passengers.
- Ability to work a flexible, on-call schedule with varying hours.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, in accordance with applicable laws.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to assist with loading and unloading luggage as needed.
- Ability to accommodate extended assignments and varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel as needed.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
