We are currently seeking a dependable Assistant Teacher to support our classrooms during the afternoon hours and assist with end-of-day responsibilities.
Position Details
Job Title: Assistant Teacher
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Position Type: Part Time
Responsibilities
- Support Lead Teachers in maintaining a safe, positive classroom environment
- Assist in classrooms across multiple age groups as needed
- Help maintain appropriate child-to-staff ratios
- Assist with diapering, potty breaks, and basic caregiving tasks
- Support afternoon routines, activities, and transitions
- Help with classroom cleaning, organization, and sanitation
- Assist with closing classrooms and shared spaces according to center policies
- Follow all state licensing requirements and center procedures
Qualifications
- Previous childcare experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable working with children of various age groups
- Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Willing to complete all required state licensing and training
