Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy, including balance sheets, income statements, A/R & A/P and cash flow statements.
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends and discrepancies, and make recommendations for financial improvements to the CFO.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and statements, including accounts payable and payroll processing.
- Perform general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries and all account reconciliations.
- Manage and maintain the company's accounting system.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial concepts and accounting standards (GAAP).
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and to provide financial guidance to the CFO.
- Provide training and support to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of financial concepts and accounting standards.
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with QBO or similar accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Forward thinking professional.
- Experience with corporates taxes high taxes highly desirable.

Pay: $75,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year
