Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment.
- Perform window cleaning and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling cleaning chemicals and disinfectants in accordance with safety protocols.
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture or supplies to support efficient room turnover.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures.
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and chemical dispensers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on infection control and sanitation standards.
- Excellent customer service skills to respond courteously to guest requests or inquiries.
- Familiarity with chemical handling procedures and the use of PPE for safety compliance.
