Nagamine Okawa Engineers, one of the top structural engineering firms in Hawaii, is seeking a hard-working structural engineer with a vision for the future. A BS with concentration in structural engineering is required, and a MS degree in structural engineering is preferred.
Duties may include:
- Structural analysis and design of buildings, bridges, and waterfront structures for new construction or repair/rehabilitation/retrofit.
- Preparation of calculations, drawings, and specifications that comply with applicable building codes, of which can be put out for bid and constructed.
- Forensic work, including investigations, inspections, and preparing structural assessment reports.
- Hands-on experience in both the office and in the field.
Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work in a team environment. We can help you obtain valuable experience and skills in analyzing and designing many different types of structures to broaden your repertoire.
