HR Generalist (Contract to possible hire)
This is an entry level contract position with the opportunity for full-time employment.
We are looking for a high energy, motivated individual with an exceptional work ethic that will help lay the groundwork for our future expansion. This role will undertake a wide range of HR duties such as administering all employee benefit programs, recruiting and sourcing, and leading a variety of projects.
Responsibilities

Administer all benefit plans and manage leave of absence requests.

Post open positions and manage candidate application process, tracking all recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system.

Conduct talent sourcing and scheduling of candidate phone/video interviews.

Support new employee onboarding process including new hire paperwork, coordinating orientation activities, and serving as the back up in conducting onboarding sessions.

Maintain accurate employee information in the HRIS and update organizational chart with staff changes monthly.

Lead initiatives such as employee newsletter, employer branding, and staff spotlights.

Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.

Assist with the annual performance review process.

Maintain electronic employee files and records.

Support and assist with ad hoc requests as needed.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.

2-3 years of experience within Human Resources.

Previous experience sourcing candidates (LinkedIn) preferred.

General understanding of human resources policies and procedures.

Ability to balance several tasks at once with little oversight and can easily pivot as priorities change.

Proactive in nature. Takes initiative, follows through, and works with a sense of urgency.

Organized and detailed; delivering consistent, on time results.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Previous experience with Paylocity is a plus.
