Gentle Dental of Charlotte is a patient-centered dental practice committed to providing high-quality care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are looking for a Dental Assistant who is friendly, professional, and passionate about helping patients achieve excellent oral health.
Responsibilities
- Assist the general dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including:
- Composite restorations
- Crown and bridge preparations and deliveries
- Fabricate temporary crowns and provisional restorations.
- Take dental impressions, intraoral photos, and intraoral scans.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for procedures.
- Perform instrument sterilization and maintain infection control protocols according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Clean, organize, and maintain operatories and clinical areas.
- Monitor and manage inventory of dental supplies and materials; communicate ordering needs as necessary.
- Support a positive and efficient workflow throughout the office.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of dental assisting experience required. No official assisting license required.
- Current CPR and BLS certification required.
