Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role requires expertise in various plumbing techniques, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly with precision.
- Conduct welding tasks as required for plumbing installations.
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Execute heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and equipment.
- Provide maintenance person services when needed, including carpentry and remodeling tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on teamwork and communication.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
