Seeking Residential Group Home Manager
Responsible for making sure all documentation is completed and correct.
Ensures residence is cleaned at all times (includes completing a daily walk through and logging it)
Gathers information to complete quarterly reports
Available for coverage along with house manager as needed for call-outs.
Provide on the job training and orientation for new employees.
Provide developmental training to staff during staff meetings.
Scheduling and taking clients to doctor appointments as needed which includes
filling out medical consultation forms and communicating with administrator about the details of each appointment and future scheduled appointments.
Check training, progress notes, and behavioral tracking sheets daily (initialing documentation).
Making sure all clients’ needs are met.
Monitor client transportation needs.
Monitor client participation in community activities and coordinate activities for the weekend for all sites.
Make sure all behavior tracking sheets are completed properly on each shift.
Perform surprise visits to group homes periodically (making sure the individuals’ and the house is clean, also making sure the staff is performing their jobs according to Brighton Gardens, LLC policy).A checklist sheet will need to be completed by the staff that performed the surprise visit.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Behavioral management techniques (CPR/First Aid, TO training)
- Individual Service Plans
- Quarterly Reviews
- Part Vs
- Uploading and inputting Part Vs into WAMS
Managing persons with a wide variety of disabilities associated with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities.
Write oral and interpersonal communication.
Implementing Individual Service Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans
Staff and program evaluation techniques
Maintaining up-to-date records and reports
Write objectives, task analyses, behavioral intervention programs, and individual programs.
Maintain confidentiality, as warranted
Effectively supervise staff and clients
Maintain professional ethical standards
Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training in areas such as first aid, CPR, and TOVA training.
- Split coverage between other lead assistants as needed for call-outs
- Training books and progress notes need to be monitored daily for accuracy
Qualifications
Employees must have an Associate’s degree and/or one-two years leadership dealing experience with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities.
Valid Operator’s Driver’s License, Ability to pass the background requirements
