About our church
St. George's Episcopal Church is a vibrant, stable congregation of The Episcopal Church in Milford, MI, serving our community since 1946. Our warm and welcoming members actively participate in all aspects of worship and outreach. With around 38 people in attendance each Sunday, our services have a family-like, small-town feel rooted in authentic worship that engages both hearts and minds.
We take seriously the Episcopal Church's belief that God loves you — no exceptions — and actively welcome people of all races, genders, sexual identities, and backgrounds into membership and leadership.
Our mid-century sanctuary seats approximately 100 and features a composite electro-pneumatic pipe organ of 4 ranks with 28 stops and 295 pipes, a Gulbransen baby grand piano, and beautiful stained glass windows. A Baldwin Hamilton Studio upright piano is also available in the Fellowship Hall. The Director of Music will have dedicated office space adjacent to the choir robing room, off the Fellowship Hall.
