Customer Service Representative – Property & Casualty Insurance Agency
We are a small, locally focused property and casualty insurance agency seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our team. This hourly position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping clients, staying organized, and working in a professional office environment where accuracy, follow-through, and friendly service matter.
Responsibilities
· Provide prompt, courteous service to clients by phone, email, and in person.
· Assist clients with policy questions, billing inquiries, certificates of insurance, claims questions, and general account updates.
· Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and other service requests accurately and timely.
· Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain information, resolve issues, and follow up on pending items.
· Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the agency management system.
· Support producers and other team members with daily service needs and administrative tasks.
· Identify opportunities to improve client service and help retain existing accounts.
Qualifications
· Previous customer service or office experience preferred.
· Property and casualty insurance experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
· Active property and casualty insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain licensing if required.
· Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude.
· Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
· Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and office technology.
· Ability to handle confidential client information with professionalism and care.
· Dependable, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office setting.
Position Details
· Full-time, hourly position.
· Monday through Friday schedule during regular business hours.
· Professional office environment with a small, supportive team.
· Compensation based on experience, licensing, and qualifications.
