Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Yuba City, California, to hire Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking dedicated educators who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve success in the classroom.
Contract Details
- Location: Yuba City, CA
- School Year: August 3, 2026 through June 3, 2027
- Schedule: 8 hours per day |
- Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Create and maintain a supportive, inclusive learning environment
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district special education requirements
Candidate Requirements
- California Special Education Teaching Credential
- Current California SPED License/Credential required
- TB Clearance
- Live Scan Clearance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to support students with varying academic, behavioral, and developmental needs
