Duties
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to recommend suitable products or services
- Process sales transactions accurately using retail math skills and cash management procedures
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with inquiries related to banking or financial services, including loan processing when applicable
- Maintain a clean and organized sales environment, ensuring product displays are appealing and inventory is well-managed
- Utilize financial software for transaction processing, record keeping, and reporting purposes
- Support the team by performing basic math calculations for pricing, discounts, or financial transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles; experience in banking or financial services is a plus
- Strong knowledge of cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Familiarity with financial software applications used in retail or banking environments
- Basic math skills, including proficiency in retail math and 10-key typing
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers effectively
- Ability to process loan applications or financial transactions accurately when required
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
