As a Cosmetologist at Haven , you will be responsible for providing top-tier beauty services that focus on enhancing clients' overall well-being and appearance. Responsibilities
- Perform detailed scalp assessments for clients, identifying scalp health issues such as dryness, dandruff, or hair thinning.
- Provide personalized recommendations for scalp treatments based on the analysis, addressing individual needs for hair and scalp care.
- Administer head spa services, including therapeutic scalp massages, deep-conditioning treatments, and scalp detox treatments to promote hair health and relaxation.
- Use natural and effective products tailored to the client's hair type and scalp condition.
- Educate clients on how to maintain a healthy scalp and hair post-treatment.
- Perform relaxing and rejuvenating manicures and pedicures, which may include nail care, cuticle treatments, exfoliation, and massage.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation during nail treatments.
- Recommend suitable nail care products and treatments for healthy nails and skin.
- Provide customized facials based on skin type and client needs, including cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing treatments.
- Use natural and organic skincare products that align with the wellness focus of the spa.
- Educate clients on skincare routines and products for continued care at home.
- Greet clients warmly, confirming their appointments and assisting with the check-in process.
- Accurately check clients in and out of the spa, ensuring proper documentation and payment.
- Answer any client inquiries about services, products, or treatments during check-in/check-out.
- Assist with laundry tasks when needed, including washing, folding, and organizing towels, linens, and robes used during spa treatments.
- Ensure all spa linens are kept clean, fresh, and in good condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace throughout the day.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly cleaned and disinfected after each client.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a hygienic environment for both clients and team members.
Skills
- Cosmetology License:
- Must have a valid cosmetology license issued by the state or country of employment, ensuring you meet legal and professional standards for performing beauty services.
- Proficiency in Pedicures:
- Ability to perform high-quality pedicures, including nail care, massage, exfoliation, and cuticle treatment, with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
- Facial Treatment Expertise:
- Ability to perform customized facials, tailored to various skin types, utilizing natural and organic skincare products.
