Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

**Position Overview:**
AdvancedCare Surgery Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) with experience in operating the C-arm in an ambulatory surgery setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality imaging during various surgical procedures, collaborating with the surgical team, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate and maintain the C-arm equipment to capture accurate and high-quality imaging during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other clinical team members by providing real-time imaging support in the operating room.
- Position patients appropriately and utilize lead shielding and other safety measures to minimize radiation exposure.
- Adjust imaging techniques and equipment settings to accommodate patient needs and surgeon requests.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical staff, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support a seamless and efficient workflow.
- Document and log imaging records accurately, adhering to HIPAA and facility privacy standards.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
- Proven experience operating C-arm equipment in an ambulatory or surgical setting.
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
