Cleaning Specialist
Penn United is hiring for full-time Cleaning Specialists for our maintenance team. This is a full-time, second-shift position working as a member of the Penn United Maintenance Team to perform a range of daily, routine tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the buildings and ensure office and manufacturing spaces are a clean, comfortable environment and looking their best.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and routine cleaning of buildings

Dust, vacuum, mop and sanitize all surfaces and fixtures

Restock supplies and notify Team Leader of any needed supplies or repairs

Empty trash and garbage containers

Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Assist with maintaining building security and answer doors and telephones after hours

Maintain confidentiality of corporation documents and information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Excellent time management skills and capable of meeting project deadlines

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning instructions

Able to work independently and cooperatively with teams

Physically able to bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Able to be on feet and walk for extent of the shift

Able to communicate effectively with all levels

Must be able to work second shift (Monday – Thursday 3:00 pm – 12:30 am and Friday 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm)
- Desired: Experience in facility cleaning operations, procedures and equipment

Desired: Experience in a manufacturing setting
