About the Role
As our Customer Service & Administrative Representative, you are the voice, face, and heartbeat of Ivey Exterminating. You’ll be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive the elite service we’re famous for.
New to pest control? No problem. We don’t hire for industry knowledge; we hire for attitude, work ethic, and a passion for helping people. We will provide all the training you need to succeed. All we ask is that you bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and a desire to grow with us.
What You’ll Do Daily
- Be the Hero on the Phones: Answer incoming customer calls, address inquiries with empathy, and resolve service requests with care.
- Master the Schedule: Efficiently book appointments, manage customer accounts, and optimize technician routes using our industry software.
- Keep Communication Crisp: Respond to customer emails promptly and professionally.
- Own the Office Admin: Handle invoicing, customer billing, filing, and basic office administrative tasks.
- Collaborate: Work closely with our field technicians and internal team to ensure seamless service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- The Ultimate Multitasker: You can confidently chat with a customer while accurately updating their account data on your screen.
- A Stellar Communicator: You possess excellent phone etiquette, strong writing skills, and a naturally friendly, professional demeanor.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with daily office tools (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) and eager to master our specialized scheduling and routing systems.
- Self-Motivated & Dependable: You take pride in ownership, show up ready to win, and don’t need to be micromanaged.
- A Great Cultural Fit: You bring a sense of humor and a positive outlook. We work hard, but we love to laugh along the way!
Bonus Points (Not Required):Bilingual skills.Familiarity with QuickBooks.
