Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their window treatment needs through active listening and personalized consultation.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits, including lighting design options, layout design, and renovation solutions.
- Manage inside sales activities, including upselling premium products and closing deals effectively.
- Conduct product demos and explain installation processes to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction.
- Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and retail math accurately while maintaining organized stock levels and merchandising displays.
- Collaborate with the team on remodeling projects, construction sales, maintenance services, and account management to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Maintain excellent communication skills to liaise with clients in multiple languages if applicable, ensuring clear understanding of project scope and expectations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, inside sales or outside sales within the home improvement or construction industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of renovation processes, remodeling techniques, construction experience or related fields is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, deal closing strategies, and customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with POS systems, stock management, merchandising standards, and retail math is advantageous.
