Tosa Pediatrics is an independently owned practice that serves children and their families in the greater Milwaukee area. Named “Top Choice in Pediatrics” by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for 6 years, the clinic aims to provide the best in pediatric care while maintaining the personal touch of a small group practice.
Our fast-paced pediatric office is seeking an energetic individual to work as a part time Medical Assistant. This position provides high quality care directly and indirectly to patients; therefore, the ideal candidate must be friendly, dependable and a team player.
Open to candidates interested in working full or part-time but must have open availability.
Hours: 9am - 5/5:30pm and one Saturday per month 8am-11am.

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare patient rooms and assist physicians with exams and procedures
- Measure and record vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure, etc
- Administers and documents routine medications including immunizations, antibiotics, and intramuscular medication injections.
- Conducts COVID testing, runs appropriate test and contacts patients with test results.
- Assist with processing prescription refills
- Perform capillary phlebotomy and process in-house labs or cultures
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and organization information and follow HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program
- Higher wage for those with an associate's degree
- One to five years of experience; pediatric experience is a plus
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication
- Ability to perform detailed work in a fast-paced environment
