SUMMARY
Set-up and operate CNC Machining Centers to produce precision machined metal parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read and/or complete machine set-up sheet.
- Set-up machine to be used for production.
- Assist with quality control plan details.
- Follow 1st piece inspection procedure.
- Acquire parts to be machined.
- Read blueprint, job order and tooling instructions for production requirements.
- Machine parts to required specifications.
- Inspect machined pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
- Move parts to designated areas.
- Replace worn tooling as needed.
- Remove and return tooling when job is complete.
- Suggest machining methods to improve job efficiency.
- Work within OSHA and ISO standards.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance duties.
- Perform daily housekeeping duties.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; and 1 year of related experience.
