Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Cabinet / Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and cabinetry designs that meet client needs and project specifications. Your expertise will help transform spaces through detailed planning, precise drafting, and engaging presentations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on residential and commercial interior design projects, manage multiple design initiatives, and collaborate closely with clients and contractors to bring visions to life.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive kitchen and cabinetry designs using advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and 3ds Max for detailed 3D modeling and visualization.
- Create accurate construction detail documentation and building information modeling (BIM) to ensure designs comply with building codes and safety standards.
- Produce compelling CAD presentations, renderings, and graphic visualizations utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and other graphic design software to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs meet local regulations for residential interior projects.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept through completion while maintaining budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide expert guidance on color theory, lighting design, materials selection, and remodeling options.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during the renovation or construction process to ensure seamless project execution.

- Must have prior experience and needs be able to work with mosaic software.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential interior design or cabinetry/kitchen design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Skilled in 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering to produce realistic visualizations for client presentations.
- Knowledge of building code compliance, construction detail documentation, and BIM tools essential for accurate project execution.
- Experience managing design projects from initial concept through installation while adhering to budgets and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective client consultations and collaboration with contractors or vendors.
- Background in lighting sales or lighting design is a plus but not required; familiarity with renovation processes is highly valued.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, contracts, and construction details confidently while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per week
