Duties
- Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to prepare for new guests, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Assist servers with food handling, refilling beverages, and delivering condiments as needed to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Support the kitchen staff by bussing dishes, managing waste, and maintaining a tidy service station.
- Communicate effectively with team members using clear communication skills to coordinate timely service.
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with food handling, serving, bussing, and basic food preparation enhances your ability to excel in this role.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently.
- Banquet or hotel experience can be advantageous for understanding high-volume service settings.
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and delivering exceptional guest service.
