Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. This role is essential in helping individuals improve their speech, language, and communication skills while supporting families throughout the therapy process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders (SLP only)
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under SLP supervision (SLPA)
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising SLP
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, teachers, and caregivers to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and home programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress
Qualifications
- For SLP:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- For SLPA:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Experience in a clinical, outpatient, pediatric, or educational setting preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and treatment approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
