STNA job task focus:
- Assist and encourage clients to perform daily activities
- Get weights on new admissions
- Chart daily in Point Click Care
- Be friendly to all clients and their families
- Alert the nurse if you see changes in client health, ability or condition
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
- Serve clients their meals and assist them with eating
- Ensure your most dependent clients are clean, dry and turned
- Help clients get ready for their day, dressed, groomed and bathed
Must be able to:
- Be kind and patient with the clients and their families
- Be a team player by helping your other staff members
- Be dependable with a good attendance record = attendance bonuses
- Bring your smile and positive attitude
