Anthony-Thomas Candy Company is a Midwest Confectionary company located in Columbus, OH. We are looking to fill the position of a Line Operator. A Food Production Line Operator will be responsible for; monitoring production processes and line operations; preparing and maintaining batch records and charts; sanitizing and cleaning equipment; performing inspections on products and preventative maintenance activities on equipment, operating material control equipment; loading and unloading materials; weighing up and staging ingredients for processing; and using a system designed to track productions and related information. Willing to teach a motivated person with less experience.
Job Requirements:
- Food safety background in a production environment is preferred.
- Must be mechanically inclined to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Confectionery production experience is preferred.
- Must be able to safely work well under pressure.
- Works well independently and with a small team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to follow all manufacturing compliance specifications.
- This position requires drug testing and pre background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to tolerate physical labor and standing for long periods of time.
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
- Must be able to safely perform all duties as assigned.
Experience: 2 year preferred - not required
