Join our dynamic team as a Gymnastics Coach specializing in Girls Optional Gymnastics! In this energetic role, you will inspire young athletes to develop their skills, confidence, and passion for gymnastics through engaging coaching sessions. Essential Functions
· Advanced technical knowledge of the sport of gymnastics & spotting skills
· Strong organizational skills, the ability to lead others and work collaboratively
· Excellent communication skills, including the ability to verbally communicate with students, parents and co-workers, providing clear directions and assistance
· Energetic demeanor and positive approach to teaching, training and competition
· Experience coaching and teaching advanced gymnastics skills and routines
· A commitment to the high standards we are setting as a part of our program
· Must possess a highly defined focus towards both internal and external guest service.
· Teach any and all groups through all rotations that are considered safe by current standards.
· Observe and assist participants in acquiring new skills.
· Check equipment and gym regularly to provide the safest environment possible for participants.
· Maintain accurate records of participants' attendance and progress.
· Report incidents, accidents, injuries and behaviors that occur during any Powerhouse’s program.
· Administer first-aid as necessary.
· Inform parents of program policies and where to get more information.
· Attend trainings, clinics, and conferences.
· Find substitutes for team when not available.
· Organizes and maintains gym.
· Assist in competition preparations.
· Assist in resetting the gym to normal operation after each competition.
· Assist with additional duties the supervisor may request.
Required Training, Experience and Qualifications

All Gymnastics, Trampoline & Tumbling Team Coaches:
- USA Gymnastics Competitive Coach membership: usagym.org (annually)
- USA Gymnastics Background Check: usagym.org
- U108: Pro First Aid online or an equivalent CPR and First Aid certification
- U101 Safety & Risk Management Certification (every 4 years)
- U100 Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction certification
- U110: U.S. Center for SafeSport Core Course: usagym.org (annually)
- U112: Tough Coaching or Emotional Abuse: Knowing when the line has been crossed: usagym.org
- U201: USA Gymnastics Concussion Education: usagym.org
- Other requirements per specific discipline as needed through USAG
- On-Going training: 24 hours per year (in-house & off site)
- Attend GAT (Gymnastics Association of Texas) or Congress every year
Abilities
· Requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to work in an indoor environment with frequent interruptions and distractions.
· Ability to lift up 50 – 150 lbs.
· Ability to instruct gymnasts properly and safely to reach their gymnastics goals.

Pay: $23.50 - $27.50 per hour
