RF Product Engineer
Position: RF Product Engineer
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Salary: $90K - $120K (DOE)

Join a growing semiconductor technology organization developing advanced RF solutions for a variety of wireless and high-performance communication applications. This role offers the opportunity to work across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to support the successful launch and long-term performance of innovative RF products.
Key Responsibilities

Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities from development through production release.

Collaborate with design, test, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure product readiness.

Analyze yield, performance, and reliability data to identify and implement improvements.

Support product characterization, validation, and qualification efforts.

Develop and maintain product specifications, manufacturing documentation, and test requirements.

Coordinate with external manufacturing, assembly, and test partners.

Investigate production issues and drive root cause and corrective action activities.

Monitor product performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Optimize test programs, product limits, and screening methodologies.

Support supplier quality and manufacturing process improvement efforts.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in RF product engineering, semiconductor engineering, test engineering, or a related discipline.

Knowledge of RF measurement techniques and semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Experience with automated test systems and data analysis.

Understanding of reliability testing, qualification programs, and production support.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GaN, GaAs, or other RF semiconductor technologies.

Background supporting high-power RF products.

Experience with manufacturing transfers, yield enhancement, and production ramp activities.
