American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit at a large Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center, with ONS Chemotherapy certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Hematology/transplant unit in a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center with over 1,500 staffed beds
-
Patient population includes leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma patients receiving chemotherapy, bone marrow/stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapy

Average RN-to-patient ratio of 1:4

28-bed unit
-
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Floating required

Every other weekend (EOW) required

Charting in Epic

Parking available at approximately $125/month

Active CT or Compact RN license
-
ONS Chemotherapy certification required — nurses must be qualified to administer chemotherapy and biotherapy agents

OCN certification is a plus but not required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior experience at a large Trauma Center required

No prior disciplinary actions or priors on nursing license
-
BLS required (implied by acute care setting)

Flu vaccine required — declinations are not accepted

1 professional reference required for consideration

Administers chemotherapy, biotherapy agents, bone marrow/stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapy, and provides supportive care for a hematologic patient population

This is a large academic medical center environment — candidates should have experience in a comparable high-acuity setting

Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved for the contract

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible at the travel pay rate
