Summary
The ideal candidate creates the first impression for guests arriving at the property. This role is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, opening doors, assisting with transportation, and ensuring smooth arrivals and departures while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.
Essential Functions
Job duties include, although are not limited to:

Door team is following all FORBES standards

The main gate is calling all vehicles over the radio and confirming back to the main gate

Pre-shift meetings are conducted with the valet managers and valet runners
-
ALL guest doors are opened and closed for the guest

ALL guests are greeted appropriately

ALL luggage is removed from the vehicle and loaded onto a bell cart
-
ALL Cloister guests are escorted to the front desk and introduced to the FD agent by name
-
ALL doorperson are in the proper uniform wearing their nametag and have a Daily Compass
-
Door team attends the Pre-shift meeting

Doormen are posted up
-
Valet runners are called up as vehicles arrive

Podium is clean and free of clutter

Luggage is tagged
-
ShiftNote is updated with any pertinent information

All radios are charged and ready for the next shift

Front drive is clean and free of any trash
-
Holding room is clean and organized
-
All radios are charged and ready for the next shift

Lobby is clean and free of any dirty glasses or trash

Reports to Director of Guest Experience

Has regular contact with Guest & Members
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred.

Prior experience in guest services or bellman role is a plus.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Knowledge of the local area is beneficial.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
