Ready for a new and exciting career? Twin City Staffing is hiring a skilled manual machinist for a growing machine shop in Blaine. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with manual lathe experience who enjoys precision work, repairs, and steady hours in a stable shop environment.
Location: Blaine, MNHours:
- Monday – Friday | 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
- (Alternative 7:00 am – 3:30 pm schedule available Monday – Thursday)
Pay: $30 - $36/hr., depending on qualifications

Duties of the manual machinist:
- Repair steel or aluminum cores using manual lathes
- Review blueprints and job orders to determine tooling and cutting instructions
- Calculate machine speed, feed ratios, and the size/position of cuts
- Mount, install, align, and secure tooling using hand tools and precision equipment
- Measure parts accurately with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
Requirements of the manual machinist:
- 3+ years of machinist experience (with at least 2-3 years specific to manual lathes)
- Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in blueprint reading
- Experience with precision measuring tools and machine setups; welding is a plus
- Steel-toed boots or shoes are required
